Babby gator at Little Pottsburg Creek

I heard many times that gators show up on the Little Pottsburg Creek near my office. When I head it today, I pick up my camera and drove the creek. The gator was there enjoying the sun. It is my first time to see a living gator after almost 21 years in Florida. What a shame.

My Jacksonville Transportation Authority

JTA started as Jacksonville Expressway Authority in 1955. The Florida Legislature assigned JEA the mission on developing transportation in Jacksonville, Florida. JEA became JTA in 1971 and during the same year JTA entered the bus business. JTA plan and execute construction of roads, park-n-ride stations, a skyway line connection FSCJ station to San Marco, trolley services, Stadium shuttles, Dial-N-Ride paratransit system, and since 2016 St. Johns River Ferry. JTA has moved from paper tickets to tap cards and mobile ticketing app. For the last two weeks, I am running JTA. I have already used 8B, 8A, 9, 33, and 27 lines. My main stops are Beach Boulevard and Cortez stop and Beach Boulevard and Art Museum Drive. JTA rides take more time than own car or uber, but are very economic. The whole day bus pass is 4 dollars, a three days bus pass cost 10 dollars, and a month bus pass cost 50 dollars. On uber, for example, I paid 20 dollars one way for 26 miles.
