The city of Jacksonville is located at the mouth of St. John’s River. The city of Jacksonville is bordered by Ponte Vedra, Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach, Amelia Island, Yulee, and Orange Park. St. Augustine, the American oldest city, is located at 40 miles south of the city of Jacksonville. Fernandina Beach, home of the renown Shrimp Festival, is located at 36 miles north of the city of Jacksonville.
